Aveyron meets Parisians

Aveyron and the capital have enjoyed a special and privileged relationship for more than a century. Many Aveyron families have moved to Paris to escape the harsh living conditions of the last century and forge a better future through work.
For this 5th edition of the Marchés de Pays de l'Aveyron in Paris, another page in the love story between our plateaus and mountains and the City of Light will be written from October 7th to 9th .

marché de l'Aveyron Paris

A festive occasion to meet what makes up the essence of a singular territory: its inhabitants, its specialties, its crafts and its living heritage. The best glove makers, cheese production from Laguiole or Roquefort, fouace or spit cake, aligot spinners from Aubrac, charcuterie and foie gras, suckling lamb, veal from Ségala, Aubrac free-range beef, wine and the knife of Marcillac winegrowers, of course, but so many other treasures since more than 70 Aveyron producers and craftsmen will give you the opportunity to discover their know-how or delicacies.

This festive event is also an opportunity to consider an equally exciting new life, far from the cities. The slow dating offered by the department, Saturday, October 8, will give you all the keys to employment, housing, economic or social support structures for you who want to "transhumer" to our assets and grand territories.
