During the recent renovation of the Paul Lignon stadium, Le Liadou du Vallon, in partnership with Rémi Puechoultres' company, was able to salvage the wood from the stands of the main grandstand to create an exceptional new series: the Liadou Paul Lignon.
Preserving a piece of Rodez's sporting history through an eco-responsible approach to recovering and enhancing heritage, and supporting and rallying around RAF and RODEZ RUGBY, the two emblematic clubs fighting to fly the flag for Rodez and Aveyron: now that makes sense!
Because our Liadou, the authentic knife of the Marcillac winegrowers, also has a history on the "piton" (Rodez's hilltop): when, during the Second World War, the Paul Lignon stadium was rising from the ground to be inaugurated at the Liberation, the cutlers Lauraire – 21 rue Béteille, Bec – 19 rue du Touat and Gouzy – 45 rue Saint-Cyrice were making the Liadou of the Vallon winegrowers, as shown by Liadou blades stamped with the names of these venerable Rodez houses.
Its handle, made from a wood steeped in memories that witnessed the glory days of Rodez sport, its proudly displayed "Sang & Or" (Blood & Gold) colours, its numbered blade engraved with a drawing of the main grandstand, and its original soft pouch make this Liadou Paul Lignon a truly unique knife.
It is made entirely by hand in our workshop in Marcillac-Vallon, Aveyron. The registered trademark Le Liadou du Vallon® guarantees the quality, origin and authenticity of its products.
This knife comes with a lifetime warranty against all manufacturing defects. Avoid prolonged contact with moisture and take care of its locking mechanism and blade.

This knife is made with the greatest care. The handle materials are carefully selected. It is shaped by hand. The blade is made from the highest-performing steels and bears the registered trademark Le Liadou du Vallon®, guaranteeing the quality and origin of its products.
If, despite all our efforts, a manufacturing defect causing a fault or mechanical failure of the blade, spring, tang, liners, pins or screws were to appear, we undertake to repair the defective knife and send it back to you free of charge.

This knife is made in our workshop in Marcillac, Aveyron, France. Its assembly, polishing and sharpening are carried out exclusively by hand in the purest cutlery tradition, that is to say by one and the same cutler.
