Liadou Nicolas

Alliance of viticultural tradition and innovation, Nicolas meets Le Liadou

Nicolas entrusted the Liadou du Vallon ® with the celebration of its 200th anniversary and the production of 200 Liadou ® special editions. The fruit of the meeting between the greatest wine merchant in the world and the famous traditional knife of the Marcillac winegrowers gave birth to a model specially designed for the event.

Chateau d'Arcin

A knife vinified in Haut-Médoc and shaped in Marcillac

A symbolic object of the wine industry, this Liadou ® corkscrew is unique because its handle is fashioned from barrels from the mythical Château d'Arcins. This estate, one of the oldest in Haut-Médoc, was created in the 14th century by the order of the Templars.

The light red tint of its handle is given by vinification for 2 to 3 years, followed by drying for 5 years. As tradition dictates, and in order not to cut the friendship, this model was offered accompanied by a 5 cent coin to a few customers and privileged partners of Maison Nicolas.
