In 2026, Le Liadou du Vallon celebrates its 10th anniversary!

How far we have come since the tiny shop on Marcillac's ring road, and then the workshop set up on the Quai du Cruou…

Since it was founded, our company has been entirely dedicated to the Liadou, the emblematic knife of the Marcillac winegrowers. Every day, Noémie, Pauline, Laurie (who joins us in a few days), Benjamin, Dylan and Nicolas work to bring to life and carry on a whole chapter of our region's winegrowing history, in the heart of Aveyron.

We are very proud to count you among our customers, and also among our friends. You believed in our project, and you have accompanied and supported us throughout this incredible adventure. Thank you for your loyalty, your trust and everything we have shared over the past 10 years.

Today, the Liadou has found its place on the finest tables in the world, while remaining deeply rooted in its region and its history. And the adventure is far from over: we are currently working on several exciting projects, which we will be delighted to unveil in the coming weeks…

To celebrate this anniversary, we are offering an exceptional Liadou that brings together our craftsmanship and our idea of beauty in an original combination: ebony and copper.

This anniversary model is produced in a limited, numbered series of only 200 pieces. It is available for pre-order from today and will be delivered from November 2026. This anniversary Liadou features a hand-shaped ebony handle. This dense, precious wood has a deep black hue, for a refined, elegant look. Its copper liners bear an exclusive hand-chiselled pattern and its 4 rosettes are also made of copper. Its numbered spring is engraved 2016 - 2026. The blade is made of Sandvik 14C28 stainless steel, which combines excellent cutting performance, high hardness and very good corrosion resistance.

Delivery from November 2026.

It comes with a perforated leather sheath with coloured stitching, made in Aveyron.

This knife is made with the greatest care. The handle materials are carefully selected. It is shaped by hand. The blade is made from the highest-performing steels and bears the registered trademark Le Liadou du Vallon®, guaranteeing the quality and origin of its products.
If, despite all our efforts, a manufacturing defect causing a fault or mechanical failure of the blade, spring, tang, liners, pins or screws were to appear, we undertake to repair the defective knife and send it back to you free of charge.

Made in our workshop in Marcillac, Aveyron

This knife is made in our workshop in Marcillac, Aveyron, France. Its assembly, polishing and sharpening are carried out exclusively by hand in the purest cutlery tradition, that is to say by one and the same cutler.
The registered trademark Le Liadou du Vallon® stamped on its blade guarantees its quality and origin.
