The Stade Paul Lignon, named after a rugby player from Rodez who died at the front in 1940 at the age of 31, is an emblematic stadium of Ruthenian and Aveyron sports heritage.
How many football and rugby matches have been played there? How many players have evolved there? How many spectators gathered in his popular stand to join their team and how many cries of encouragement, joy or annoyance? What is certain is that the wooden benches of this grandstand have seen all the colors and often shook...
In September 2021 during the renovation of the stadium, these old bleachers of the grandstand popular were demolished.
Attached to the great and small moments of football and rugby they experienced there, two friends from Vallon de Marcillac, former rugby players in Rodez and later spectators had the idea of saving a small piece of this history.
Thierry Douzou and Nicolas Julvé, with the help of Rémi Puechoultres' company, recovered some benches from the grandstand, in order to create a special and exceptional series of Liadou® knives with this wood loaded with memories.

We take the greatest care in the manufacturing of our knives. The handle materials are carefully selected from the most beautiful species of precious wood, varieties of horns and other noble materials. Each knife is handcrafted in the purest cutlery tradition. If, despite all our efforts, a manufacturing defect causing a defect or mechanical breakage of the blade, spring, tang, plates, nails or screw elements appears, we undertake to repair and return the defective knife to you free of charge.
